Exploiting the reactivity at high temperature of the abrasive powders dispersed in ceramic matrixes, sludge can be treated and valorised. This is an innovative ceramurgic process, of high efficiency and productivity, for the creation of new high-performance products. This process will lead to the creation of:

• New techniques of treatment, mixing and preparation of raw materials to reuse sludge resulting from ceramic work processes and polishing, and to employ secondary materials such as broken glass and scrap.
• New moulding techniques for finished products.
• New techniques and methodologies of reactive sinterisation, leading to a finished product that can guarantee the same characteristics as products currently used in the construction industry.
• New techniques for finishing new monolithic products, to facilitate laying and installation on vertical and horizontal surfaces, also by mechanical “scrim or mat” means.
• Definition of procedures for demolition and recovery of the product at the end of its working life.
